Switching on the Remote

Switch profiles right on the remote when your phone is put away.

The important idea is simple: holding Left opens the profile menu. While the menu is open, the keypad stops performing and becomes a list of profile shortcuts. Hold a profile button to choose it.

Note

On-remote profile switching works when your remote is in Basic mode, the normal mode for performing with profiles. If these shortcuts do not respond, open the app and set the remote back to Basic mode.

Choose a Page 1 profile

Most profiles are on Page 1. This is the main move to learn.

① Hold Left: open the profile menu

② Blue only: Page 1

③ Hold Button 2: Numeric active

1. Hold the Left button for about a second. You’ll feel a single buzz and the blue LED lights.

   The remote is now in the profile menu on Page 1.

2. Hold the profile button you want from Page 1.

   You’ll feel a single buzz. The remote leaves the menu and starts performing with that profile active.

Example: Numeric is Page 1 · Button 2, so hold Left, then hold Button 2.

Choose a Page 2 profile

Page 2 has the profiles that do not fit on the first page.

① Hold Left: open the profile menu

② Blue only: Page 1

③ Hold Right: Page 2

④ Hold Button 2: Go Button active

1. Hold the Left button for about a second. You’ll feel a single buzz and the blue LED lights.

   The remote is now in the profile menu on Page 1.

2. Hold the Right button to move to Page 2.

   The red LED joins the blue, so both LEDs are lit.

3. Hold the Page 2 profile button you want.

   You’ll feel a single buzz. The remote leaves the menu and starts performing with that profile active.

Example: Go Button is Page 2 · Button 2, so hold Left, hold Right, then hold Button 2.

Read the menu

• Check which one you’re on: short-press any button in the menu. A double buzz means that profile is active. A single buzz means it is not. Tap to check; hold to choose.
• Page 1: the blue LED is lit.
• Page 2: hold the Right button. The red LED joins the blue, so both LEDs are lit.
• Back to Page 1: hold the Left button while you are on Page 2. The red LED turns off, leaving blue only.
• Leave without changing anything: from Page 1, hold the Left button again to exit the menu.

Saving: a profile you pick on the remote is active right away and stays until you power off. To make it the profile your remote starts with next time, choose it in the app.
