Quick Start

Go from box to performing in a few steps.

  1. Install the app — download the Nexus Remote app from the App Store. See Installing the App.

  2. Power on your remote — first time? Flip the main power switch on the back to engage the battery, and charge it if needed. Then hold the power button for about a second, until you feel a double buzz.

  3. Pair your remote — choose either:

    • In the app (recommended): open the app, tap Pair a Remote, and select your remote. See Pairing Your Remote.
    • In iOS Settings: open Settings → Bluetooth and tap your remote under other devices.

    If the app offers a firmware update, let it finish — updates apply automatically.

  4. Pick a profile — choose the profile that matches your app or effect, or open Switchboard to run a routine.

  5. Perform — you’re ready.
