Overview of the standard keypad profile
A keypad profile is a predesigned configuration for how each button reports user input. There are two categories of reports. Keyboard report and consumer report. A keyboard report consists of numbers, letters, and extended keyboard commands. A consumer report is for system commands like the media controls and go home. Each button can store up to 32 individual reports. Those individual reports can make up system commands, numbers, letters, words, or sentences. The following defines how each profile is configured and used.
To select a profile to be active in the performance state, you must be in the mode settings state, and the keyboard mode must be the currently active mode. Follow these instructions for navigating the mode settings state. For setting the mode, follow these instructions. The following table provides the button to profile information.

The default keypad profile is the standard profile. The user may want a different keypad profile to be set for when the remote turns on. To save a keypad profile as the default, perform a short press then a long press on the button associated with that profile. You will fill a long vibration followed by the remote returning to the performance state.
