Android DFU Process

Overview

The following walks through performing a device firmware update and the tools required on Android devices.

Application

The device firmware is written using the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 SDK. Because of this, I use their proprietary DFU process. Nordic provides an Android application called nRF Device Firmware Update. In this application, there is a built-in DFU tool for updating the device firmware.
